Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FiscoTrail, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

FiscoTrail is a personal finance and net-worth tracking tool. You manually enter, or import via file upload, information about your accounts, transactions, budgets, loans, and investments, and FiscoTrail organizes and displays it back to you — budgets vs. actuals, net worth over time, cash flow, and similar views. Some market prices (stocks, crypto, currency exchange rates) are pulled automatically from third-party data providers to keep your investment values current.

FiscoTrail does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the app should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, save, or spend in any particular way. It is a tracking and organization tool only. Any projections, totals, or charts reflect the data you've entered and general market data — they are not guidance, and you should not rely on them as the basis for a financial decision without your own independent judgment or professional advice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter. FiscoTrail does not verify the figures you provide, and calculations are only as correct as the inputs behind them.

Market prices (stocks, crypto, currency rates) come from third-party providers and are refreshed periodically, not in real time — they may be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or occasionally inaccurate. We make no guarantee that any figure shown in the app — whether entered by you or pulled from a market data provider — is complete, current, or error-free.

FiscoTrail is currently in early beta, built and maintained by a single developer. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or contain bugs. We'll do our best to keep your data intact and let you know about any significant changes, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service at this stage.

You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with others
• Use FiscoTrail only for lawful, personal purposes
• Not attempt to access another user's data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to FiscoTrail or other users.

You retain ownership of the financial data you enter into FiscoTrail. You can request deletion of your account at any time from the Profile page. Deletion follows a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel by logging back in — after that, your account and all associated data are permanently removed. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

FiscoTrail is currently free to use during the beta period. We may introduce paid tiers with additional features in the future. If we do, existing free functionality won't be taken away and put behind a paywall without reasonable advance notice.

FiscoTrail's code, design, and branding belong to us. The financial data you enter belongs to you — we don't claim ownership of it, and we only use it to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

FiscoTrail is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any financial losses, damages, or decisions made based on information displayed in the app, including inaccuracies in your entered data or in third-party market data. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, during the free beta, is zero).

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use FiscoTrail after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled by the competent Dutch courts.
